House Call: Stroke—Save a Life By Knowing the Signs
Two million brain cells die during every minute of a stroke, according to the National Stroke Association. It’s no wonder, then, that health care experts urge every person to learn the signs of stroke so that proper medical intervention can start as quickly as possible. Join Simi Valley neurologist Henry Tang, DO, for this very important presentation. You’ll learn how to identify the physical changes that accompany a stroke and what you should do when you spot those warning signs. Dr. Tang will also answer your questions about stroke. CPR: Heartsaver AED
This class is for the general public who would like to learn CPR. The Heartsaver AED Course teaches CPR and relief of choking in adults, adult/child AED, children and infants and the use of barrier devices. Pre-registration is required. Yoga Classes
The Wellness Community offers a series of yoga classes that utilize gentle stretching, movement, awareness and breath to increase flexibility, aid in stress reduction, and promote a sense of well being.
