Classes For Healthcare Providers
The following classes are offered through Simi Valley Hospital (SVH). Pre-registration is required. Unless otherwise stated, please call (805) 955-6890 to register.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Part 1
An American Heart Association course that provides the healthcare professional with guidelines and up-to-date information on adult resuscitation. Students must have first completed a basic dysrhythmia recognition course in order to attend this class. Pre-registration is required. To register, call (805) 955-6890.

An American Heart Association course that provides the healthcare professional with guidelines and up-to-date information on adult resuscitation. Basic Dysrhythmia
Basic Dysrhythmia is a two-day course that focuses on the essential information needed to interpret ECG's. Patient signs and symptoms and treatments are also discussed. This class is a prerequisite for the ACLS classes. Pre-registration is required. To register, call (805) 955-6890.

CPR: Healthcare Provider Certification
This class provides CPR training approved by the American Heart Association for those in the medical field. This course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR, foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation. Pre-registration is required. CPR: Healthcare Provider Recertification

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Part 1
This two-day class provides training for those in the medical field. This class includes participation, demonstration and written evaluation. Upon successful completion, the participant will receive an PALS Provider Card. Pre-registration is required.
