Enhancing Women’s Health Services

Caring for the Women of Our Community

One of Simi Valley Hospital’s highest priorities is creating and maintaining health services that benefit the women of our community.

To help meet this need, Simi Valley Hospital opened the Nancy Reagan Breast Center in 1994 for mammography and breast care. Among our many services today, we operate a well-baby nursery as part of the Women’s and Children’s Services program.

For the future, we envision a hospital where parents can give birth with the security of knowing that an in-house Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is available. Simi Valley Hospital needs your help to purchase state-of-the-art equipment for this NICU, which provides specialized care for babies born prematurely or with special medical needs.
