In Celebration of Renewal

Spring is a time for rebirth and renewal, so it is fitting that this issue of Your Health focuses on those themes at Simi Valley Hospital. We are excited about the positive changes happening here.

None of these developments is more significant than the impending opening of our Patient Care Tower. We have devoted the first four pages of this issue to giving you insight and information about this new building. We are planning a momentous opening celebration, and we hope you will join us.

Don’t miss the sidebar, “Our pledge continues,” where you’ll see a summary of our commitment to our patients and community for the years to come.

Another construction project we’re looking forward to is our new medical office building, which will offer convenience and new medical care options for our community.

You will learn about our plans for a cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular laboratory in our Patient Care Tower. You can also read about how patients have responded to our Emergency Department’s renewed focus on pain control.

Our commitment to our community reaches beyond the walls of Simi Valley Hospital. We tell you about the independently confirmed quality and effectiveness of Adventist Health/Home Care Services of Simi Valley Hospital, our home health program and our successful senior lecture series at the Simi Valley Senior Center.

We couldn’t make the much-needed changes at Simi Valley Hospital without the support of our generous donors. You’ll meet two of these special people and learn more about the activities of our Simi Valley Hospital Foundation.

Finally, don’t miss the opportunity for your own personal renewal by taking part in one of our classes.

We hope you will have a chance to enjoy our beautiful spring weather with some healthy and fun outdoor exercise. Best of health to you!
