Wells Fargo Foundation Banks on the Future of Simi Valley Hospital

Check Presentation
Wells Fargo representative Mike Berdrow, Virginia Redding and Alan Butts pass on a check to Lorri Adams, SVH Foundation executive director

The Wells Fargo Bank Foundation recently presented a check of $1, 000 to the Simi Valley Hospital Foundation.

The contribution will go toward the construction of the new Patient Care Tower. When completed, the Patient Care Tower will feature an expanded intensive care unit and 136 private care rooms. It will also allow Simi Valley Hospital to meet the state’s stringent earthquake requirements for hospital structures.

The Patient Care Tower reflects a $75 million investment, with $16 million acquired from a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant, $10 million from corporate parent Adventist Health and additional funding to be raised by the Simi Valley Hospital Foundation.
