Simi Valley Hospital Presents Lecture on Diabetes September 28

House Call: Taking the Mystery Out of Diabetes

John Dingilian, MDJohn Dingilian, MD, family practice medicine physician on staff at Simi Valley Hospital, will present both basic and special issues related to diabetes management. The goal of this lecture is to take the mystery out of diabetes by providing participants with information about prevention, diagnosis, treatment, long-term management and nutrition.

The lecture will be held on Monday, Sept. 28, from 6pm to 7:30pm in Whitman Hall at the United Methodist Church of Simi Valley, 2394 Erringer Rd. Light appetizers will be served. Please call 805-955-6958 to RSVP.

The American Diabetes Association estimates that 23.6 million people in the United States have diabetes, translating to 8 percent of the population.
