Paula Lewis Appointed General Vice President
Paula Lewis, MSN, RN, was recently promoted to general vice president for Simi Valley Hospital, according to Margaret Peterson, President and CEO of Simi Valley Hospital. Lewis assumed her new position on May 12, 2002. Prior to her appointment as vice president, she served as an administrative director at the hospital, where she has worked since 2000.
“I am pleased to recognize Paula’s outstanding contribution to Simi Valley Hospital and our community,” said Peterson. “She personifies our mission in action by providing educational lectures on a variety of health topics to community groups and local businesses alike.”
In her new role, Lewis oversees several departments, including Quality Management, Home Health, Education, Medical Records and Peripheral Vascular. “One of Paula’s key duties is to develop a collaborative team effort to enhance the quality of care and services at Simi Valley Hospital,” said Peterson.
Lewis holds a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Maryland, and a master’s in Nursing from The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.
