Child Development Center's Resources for Parents
Nurse Consultation
Does the child have medical complications requiring a nursing perspective? Are there issues regarding failure to thrive, nutrition, or medications? Our nurse consultant assists parents with these concerns. Her background as a Marriage and Family Therapist enables her to help support families with their decision making process regarding their child's health and wellbeing.
Support Groups
Parents and other interested adults are invited to participate in our rap groups. They meet monthly to network and share information, learn about resources, and discuss parenting and topics of specific interest to caregivers of children with special needs. Please refer to the calendar section for dates, times, locations and the topics to be discussed. We welcome your suggestions for topics and discussion themes.
The Babbler
The Babbler is a monthly newsletter for parents. If you would like to be added to our mailing list, please send us an email.
