CT ScanDiagnostic Imaging features state-of-the-art equipment.

Computerized Tomography (CT Scan) produces three-dimensional images to help doctors make a diagnosis or guide them during an invasive procedure. This equipment is also used during Radiation Therapy planning for Cancer patients. Body scans, cardiac scoring and bone density exams are also available. The hospital has a new CT scanner that provides astoundingly clear and accurate images, as well as a faster imaging process, greater comfort for patients, and lower doses of radiation.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) produces amazingly detailed images of soft tissue inside the body, helping physicians detect disease and pinpoint injuries. Simi Valley Hospital’s new 1.5 Tesla Philips Achieva MRI carries the latest imaging technology. Evening and Sunday appointments are available.

Nancy Reagan Breast Center provides diagnostic mammograms, dedicated breast ultrasound, and biopsy procedures. Convenient evening appointments are available.

ultrasoundUltrasound is available at the main campus and at the Aspen Outpatient Center. Often used for children and expectant mothers, our advanced equipment can perform 32 different studies of internal areas.

Diagnostic Radiology (X-Ray) offers a comprehensive range of general radiographic procedures of the head, spine, abdomen, and extremities. Some procedures are of a specialized nature and may involve the use of contrast media for diagnostic evaluation.
