Simi Valley Hospital and Physicians Form Partnership for Outpatient Surgery and GI Services
Simi Valley Hospital and the hospital’s medical staff have combined efforts to create a new joint venture at the Aspen Surgery Center to enhance outpatient care offerings.
The partnership was officially launched on March 2, 2009, and is licensed as Aspen Surgery Venture, LLC. More than just outpatient surgery services, the Aspen Surgery Center also features pain management and gastroenterology (GI) services. The new GI portion of the Aspen Surgery Center is scheduled to open in May 2009.
Carrying on a Tradition of Excellence
The Aspen Surgery Center has been consistently honored for excellence in patient care, gynecological surgery, ENT (ear, nose and throat) services, pain management, orthopedic care and general surgery (including laparoscopic surgery).
“The goal of the joint venture is to provide outstanding service to our patients and community through the strength of this partnership between the hospital and our medical staff,” said Jeanine Maurer, RN, director of the Aspen Surgery Center. “Everyone at the Aspen Surgery Center is very excited about what this collaboration will mean for our patients.”
